Snapper Madness is full swing

Port Phillip Bay is in the grips of true silly snapper season with cricket score catches of snapper from all over the bay

For example Andy Smith from Frogleys offshore and myself ventured out onto the bay from Patterson Lakes yesterday (sunday 12th decemeber) and caught and released in excess of 30 snapper from 2 to 4.5kg with most being taken on plastics and all this in a 2 hour little session mid afternoon

This has been the norm thisd season with many charter operators bagging out in the first 20 minutes of being on the water
