RESULTS!
The 2026 SOUTH WEST VICTORIAN GAMEFISHING CLASSIC has been run and done! A huge thankyou to Ebb Tide Tackle as the major sponsor for the event. And didn't the fishing turn it on! With tuna of all sizes on offer, the $5,000 cash purse for a Tuna over 130kg did not go off, but we had some sensational results.
SENIOR CATEGORY
MOST MERITORIOUS GAMEFISH CAPTURE: Jordan Sicely 437 points
HEAVIEST GAMEFISH CAPTURE: Jordan Sicely 107.8kg Southern Bluefin Tuna on 37kg line
CHAMPION ANGLER TAG & RELEASE- Senior: Andy Smith 22,000 points
JUNIOR CATEGORY

If you love your game fishing, then this event is one not to be missed!
An invitation is extended to anglers who are financial members of a club affiliated with the GFAV or other State Association which is affiliated with the GFAA and IGFA members.
If you are not a current GFAV Member and wish to fish the event, you can submit a membership application to join our club, which includes GFAV Membership on your application.
