Huge congratulations to Peter Kavanagh, with a fantastic capture of a Victorian Record Albacore of 27.26kg on 10kg line class! (pending official approval)
With weather conditions forcing a move to our reserve weekend, boats and a field of anglers fished from all three available ports of Warrnambool, Port Fairy and Portland.
Anticipation was high at the event briefing on Friday night, after Peppers Pizza Warrnambool dinner & members collecting their new custom club Undertow Saltwater Apparel. Plenty of anglers were keen to win themselves the early entry prize of a Shimano Tiagra 50w reel! Tom Holt's name was drawn, winning himself a new game reel!
Onto the results, with a wide spread of effort across our local waters and a fantastic club BBQ from Norfolk Butchers and Gallo Bakery, on Sunday, we awarded and celebrated our winners.
