Our first Game fishing club comp for the season! Local waters, Game Shark Species!

Competition Times: 

5am Saturday January 18th until 5pm Sunday January 19th 2024

Weigh Ins: 

8pm Saturday & 5pm Sunday @ Clubrooms.

(Club BBQ, drinks & Presentation event on Sunday).

If you wish to tag fish, please contact a committee member ASAP to arrange tags for briefing night.

Weigh In Section: 

Game Shark: minimum 120cm length.

Entrants can weigh in one shark, per day of the competition.

Boat limit of 2

(One game shark from the eligible species list, not one of each species on the list.)

Blue Sharks are not eligible to be weighed for club comp.

Tag & Release Section: (Competition point score only for target species)

GFAV rules apply. Must be a current GFAV Member

Game Sharks: minimum 120cm length

Competition Prizes:

* Heaviest Game Shark: Senior, Junior & Small Fry.

* Highest Tag & Release Point Score: Senior, Junior & Small Fry.

* Overall Most Meritorious Capture

Let's look after our catch with proper ice & chilling techniques!

All judgement & ruling is at discretion of Competition Committee and is final. All existing club rules apply if not mentioned above.
